THE FUTURE OF THIS BLOG

Hey everyone, Howard here. 

We are officially two weeks into my art education journey, and things are not going exactly as I'd envisioned them. Once again I find myself expecting too much too soon from the world around me. This first batch of classes isn't the life-changing experience I thought it would be. It's cool to learn and all, but at the end of the day it is just school. And as far as you and I are concerned, that's not gonna do much for the content of this blog.

So between that and a couple other things I've decided to shift my focus here a bit. Moving forward I'm going to dedicate this site exclusively to sharing stuff I've done, stuff I'm working on, and stuff I plan to do. 

On that note, let's take a look at what I actually have planned for this year:

• NEW COMIC SERIES (Spring 2025)
• MOVIE (Summer 2025)
• BOOK (Fall 2025)
• SUPER SECRET PROJECT (Winter 2025)

It's nice to have a dedicated timeline of fun stuff to keep me busy throughout the year. With the first month of 2025 officially over, I'm generally happy with what I've accomplished so far. I set this place up, launched the YouTube channel and Instagram account, and took my first baby steps into the public eye. I worked on a couple things for the above projects—first draft of the book and pilot script for the comic are done (but I'm in no way happy with them). 

This week I put together a demo for a song that you'll most likely end up seeing in full at some point in the not-too-distant future. Finally put that one semester of high school Music Composition to good use.

Over the next few months as I work through these projects, you'll be the first to hear about them right here. In the meantime, YouTube and Instagram will be receiving weekly posts from my backlog of content over the past decade or so. Drawings, songs, memes—something for everyone. 

In making the timeline "official", I'm hoping that I'll actually be able to stick to it. Lord knows how many projects have fallen into the abyss due to my own commitment issues. Pilot of the comic will be out end of February. Movie should be finished around July; book comes out a month after that with the Super Secret Project serving as a nice lil' Christmas gift for y'all. But everything in due time.
